Member Application

We are always accepting new members! Cooperatives are by nature voluntary organizations with open membership. Fill out the following form if you’re interested in becoming a member. We’ll be in contact with you after you send the application.

Standard Qualifications to begin Official Bookshop Member Candidacy

Time to complete starting at application: 60 days

After the following stipulations are met (or 60 days pass) Bookshop Members will vote to move forward with Formal Candidacy. 

  1. Complete Online Form

    a. Receive Bookshop By-Laws and other documents to review.

  2. Attend Interview 

    a. Interviews are offered at Board meeting times

    b. In circumstances that don’t allow this time, accommodations can be made 

  3. 10 hours of involvement in Bookshop sanctioned events

  4. Attend 2 Board meetings 


*Official candidacy begins upon completion of Pre-Candidacy Requirements & a simple majority vote of the Board & signing Bookshop non-compete document.
